Furry Critters

I like beavers and otters and foxes
I like weasels too

I like rats and bats and mice and moles
But sometimes they get on my nerves

I like raccoons and skunks and ‘possums
But sometimes they get in my headlights at night

And we don’t like what often happens next
And I’m sure it gives them a fright

Well the dolphin almost made it
But he aint got no hair

And the flying squirrel was almost a bird

And then there is the aardvark, the coatimundi and the platypus…
He’s got a great big duck- bill for a mouth
And his girlfriend lays an egg
